What we collect, and why.

Oblique Sight LLC ("Oblique Sight", "we", "us") operates www.obliquesight.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit the site or get in touch, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It's written in plain language on purpose.
Information you give us
If you fill out the enquiry form, you give us your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this only to reply to you and, if a working relationship develops, to keep a record of the conversation. We don't sell, share, or rent it.
Information collected automatically
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages get attention. This involves cookies and processing of standard web data: IP address (truncated by Google), device and browser type, referring URL, and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate to improve the site. We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or third-party trackers.
Analytics only loads if you accept it on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google receives no events from your visit.
Form submissions
The enquiry form is handled by a small Cloudflare Worker we operate. It processes the submission, performs basic spam checks, and forwards the message to our inbox. Cloudflare acts as our processor under their privacy policy.
Hosting and delivery
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (IP, request, timestamp) for security and reliability. Logs are retained for short periods according to Cloudflare's policy.
How long we keep things
- Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months, then deleted.
- Form submissions: kept while the conversation is active and for up to 24 months after, then deleted unless we're under a contract that requires longer.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to know what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time. Open the cookie banner from the link in the footer.
